An Artful Backyard Wedding in Denver
Tessa & Sam planned a wedding that felt completely their own—relaxed, intentional, and centered on the people they love. The day began with Tessa getting ready at her sister's mid-century home in Denver, where beautiful natural light and thoughtful design made it the perfect setting for both digital and 35mm film photography.
Their ceremony took place in the couple's own backyard beneath a mature tree surrounded by lush gardens. With an unhurried timeline, they spent the afternoon celebrating with family and friends before we created a series of editorial-inspired portraits inside their home using both natural light and flash.
The evening continued at Lot46 Bar in Denver with live music, pizza, an ice cream cart, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor. Every part of the day reflected Tessa and Sam's creative approach to celebrating with the people closest to them.
