A 35mm Film Couple Session in New York City

There’s something about photographing in New York that always feels a little unpredictable in the best way. We started near the iconic Manhattan Bridge view in DUMBO and spent the rest of the morning wandering the surrounding streets together.

As the sun rose, light started pouring between the buildings, giving us these incredible pockets of warm light throughout the city. We followed it around, stopped when something caught our eye, and let the morning unfold from there.

The entire session was photographed on 35mm film using my Leica M6 and Contax G2 with Kodak Portra 400. A simple morning walking around New York with good light, good people, and a few rolls of film.
