Elopement at Shrine Mountain Inn, Vail Colorado

Peter + Kat chose to celebrate their marriage ceremony in the most beautiful way possible. They were not about anything fancy or being carted around. They chose their day to be intimate, meaningful and enjoyed by all. Since Peter and Kat had family and friends coming in from out of state for their Destination, they decided to have everyone stay up Shrine Mountain Inn for a few days in Vail, Colorado. The mountains were so peaceful, it was the perfect place to hang with friends, eat good food, play games and explore the area.

It was the perfect getaway, limited cell service, nothing too luxurious just real Colorado Mountain Inn huts with the most spectacular Colorado Rocky Mountain Range views! (there was an old fashion Sauna tho, for sure a plus) And can we just take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty of the wildflowers? It was amazing!

The ceremony was outside, with a beautiful handmade flower arch serving as an altar. Friends and family were able to share meaningful words, blessings, and stories. The day was relaxed and filled with so much real emotion! There’s something special about breaking away from tradition and creating your own story, especially in the mountains of Colorado.
