I absolutely love black and white photographs and I never ever post enough of them, so here’s my attempt at doing so. I also am a big fan of adventuring through Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park for adventurous and just FUN couple photos. There’s just so much to see and experience, it’s overwhelming but in a good way and so worth it.

I was lucky enough to kick it with Trevor and Tracy and get to show them around Rocky Mountain National Park. I’m so thankful for days like this and I’m truly spoiled for getting to hang with such an awesome couple. If YOU like the black and white photographs and would like to see more posts like this, comment below and let me know.

Somedays are just more than perfect and this was one of those days. The weather was glorious, with fresh powder in the mountains and the sun peaking through the snow filled clouds. And let me tell ya, I’ve been looking forward to this day for awhile, ever since Leah first contacted me for their winter mountain snow shoe elopement in the Aspen, Colorado… umm heck yes!

There’s always a bit of planning that goes into a winter elopement, from picking the spot, the day, hoping for good weather and having a plan incase a blizzard rolls in. You never know what will happen with weather and just have to be prepared to go with it. We lucked out big time, Leah and William picked February 11th for their elopement, which is also the same date that these two first met.

Leah and William chose to hike for their elopement, not only because it’s awesome but because it’s something they actually love doing together. I asked Leah + William why they chose to elope and this is what they said, ‘We want to have some space to be together just the two of us to celebrate, to be intentional about our commitment, and to really honor and relish this decision’. Leah also shared with me that they wanted the day to be, ‘intimate, simple, thoughtful, and connected.’ And it was exactly that, I’m so thankful to have been there to hang with these two and photograph their intimate elopement in Aspen, Colorado.
