Best Los Angeles Wedding Venues for Editorial Weddings
Best Los Angeles Wedding Venues for Editorial Weddings
There’s a reason Los Angeles continues to inspire so much fashion, film, and design work.
The city naturally lends itself to weddings that feel intentional, stylish, and personal without needing to feel overly traditional. Some venues here feel cinematic by default. Others are quieter and more understated, but photograph beautifully because of the light, architecture, or atmosphere they create throughout the day.
As a photographer, I’m always drawn to venues that allow people to actually be present while still creating space for imagery that feels refined and timeless. The best editorial weddings never feel overly staged to me — they feel relaxed, emotionally honest, and visually thoughtful at the same time.
Below are some of my favorite Los Angeles wedding venues for couples planning a more editorial-inspired wedding day.

Why Editorial Weddings Photograph So Well on Film
A lot of couples use the word “editorial” to describe wedding imagery, but to me the best editorial weddings don’t feel overly posed or performative.
They feel intentional.
The styling, lighting, venue, and atmosphere all work together naturally without taking away from the actual experience of the day.
That’s also why I love incorporating 35mm film into weddings like these. Film naturally softens moments in a way that still feels timeless and honest while keeping texture and atmosphere intact.
Los Angeles venues especially photograph beautifully on film because of the architecture, tones, and quality of light throughout California.
Planning an Editorial Wedding in Los Angeles?
I photograph weddings throughout Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, New York, Colorado, and destinations across the U.S. using a blend of digital and 35mm film photography.
