As soon as Kaitlyn and Dalton reached out we started brainstorming ideas on some of the best locations to elope in Colorado! They knew that they wanted mountain views, alpine lakes and a location close to Breckenridge. As part of the booking process I shared personal elopement locations across Colorado and they decide to elope at Blue Lakes in Breckenridge. If you haven’t been there, let me tell ya it’s the perfect spot for a mountain elopement since it’s easy to access (most of the year) and great if you’re having a few friends and family join you for the day!

It’s so important for me to know how a couple wants to spend their day so I can better serve them. Each couple and their elopement looks different and that’s the beauty of it! I asked Kaitlyn to put her dream Colorado elopement into words and this is what she shared; ‘We are looking for a day filled with love, laughter, and just a bunch of fun. We aren't completely hung up on the details (although, I will still be putting a lot of thought into my bouquet) and prefer to focus on us. With that being said, our family is INSANELY important to us. We would like them to be involved in as much as possible!’

And I so value the fact that Kaitlyn and Dalton wanted their family to be there for the elopement, which is totally a thing and if you have close family and friends that you want to celebrate with you I 100% recommend doing so! They were able to spend a week together at an awesome Airbnb in Breckenridge where they went on hikes, explored the town and went mountain biking. How awesome is that?
