Brainard Lake Elopement

Amber and Pat’s Brainard Lake Elopement in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area was an absolute dream! These two wanted to go up into the mountains for their wedding photos to go for a short hike and look for Fall colors. We lucked out with incredible Fall colors, mountain views and perfect weather. For Amber and Pat being in the mountains is their happy place. They both spend their weekends hiking, exploring and camping. For them it’s a way of life and a big part of their relationship through dating, engagement and wedding day.

Brainard Lake Elopement Photos Bride and Groom at Sunset

This area is near Brainard Lake and one that I have scouted many times to observe lighting and find the best spots for photos in the mountains. We went to this valley for wedding photos and a short hike where we got some incredible light peaking through the trees.
