Christine & Chedon’s Della Terra Wedding in Estes Park

Christine and Chedon brought their favorite people to Colorado for a destination wedding at Della Terra in Estes Park, and everyone was genuinely so excited to be there with them.

The whole day felt laid back and unrushed. Their bridesmaids wore black dresses, the groomsmen were in black suits, and honestly everyone looked incredible. Against the mountains and all the color from the florals, it came together so well. Pinks, oranges and bright pops of color were everywhere.

One of my favorite parts of the day was taking some time for portraits of Christine in her dress and cathedral veil. We photographed these on both 35mm and medium format film, leaning into something a little more editorial while still keeping everything relaxed.

Cocktail hour had everyone outside enjoying the mountain views around Estes Park before heading in for dinner and eventually the dance floor. Once dancing started, the energy stayed high for the rest of the night.

I photographed the wedding on a mix of digital and film using the Fujifilm GFX 100 II, Fujifilm X-T5 and Leica M6. I love mixing formats throughout a wedding day, especially somewhere like Della Terra where you have beautiful mountain scenery alongside all of the smaller moments happening between people.

Such a fun day, an incredible group of people, and a really good reason to bring everyone you love to the mountains.
