Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding | Woodland Mosaic Solarium
Chelsea & Nick’s Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding
Chelsea and Nick celebrated their wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens, surrounded by greenery, colorful flowers, and the people closest to them. Their day took place at the Woodland Mosaic and its historic Solarium, one of my favorite spaces within the gardens.
The Solarium is such a beautiful setting for an intimate Denver wedding. The green glass structure feels like it belongs naturally within the surrounding gardens, and the light inside is incredible. Chelsea and Nick leaned into the setting with florals filled with orange, yellow, red, blue, and little pops of color throughout the space.
A Wedding at the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium
We started the afternoon with Chelsea and Nick’s first look before wandering through the gardens together for portraits. One of the things I love about photographing weddings at the Denver Botanic Gardens is how much variety there is without ever needing to leave the property. There are quiet pathways, dense greenery, flowers, architecture, and pockets of beautiful light everywhere you turn.
Their ceremony took place inside the historic Solarium with their closest family and friends gathered around them. Afterward, everyone stayed on site for cocktail hour before coming back together for dinner and speeches.
It made the entire celebration feel relaxed and intimate. There was nowhere else anyone needed to be, and the gardens became the backdrop for the whole evening.
Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding Photography
For couples looking for a wedding venue in Denver that feels lush, intimate, and a little removed from the city, the Denver Botanic Gardens is such a special place. The Woodland Mosaic and Solarium in particular offer a beautiful combination of indoor and outdoor spaces while still feeling completely surrounded by the gardens.
Chelsea and Nick’s day was colorful, personal, and incredibly fun to photograph. I loved getting to document everything from the quiet moments before their ceremony to dinner, speeches, and the celebration that followed.
If you’re planning a Denver Botanic Gardens wedding and are looking for photography that blends documentary moments with an editorial approach, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
