Loveland Pass Engagement Session Near Breckenridge Colorado
loveland pass colorado, Engagement Photo Session Sunset
We got the best golden hour lighting and blue hour lighting for photos up at Loveland pass. We also had all the best views to ourselves which is a perk of having your engagement session on a week day. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect as we had little to no wind and super comfortable temperates which is extra awesome with snow on the forecast. We explored all of Loveland Pass and Pass Lake for these engagement photos and even hiked out to one of my favorite ‘secret’ spots to catch sunset. Loveland pass is one of my favorite locations for engagements near Denver and close to Breckenridge with the best mountain views.
The majority of these engagement photos were taken with a Fujifilm GFX and Fuji XT-4 which are two of my favorite Fujifilm cameras for engagement and wedding photography. I also photographed the session with film and will add those photos once I get the scans back from the lab. For now though, enjoy these photos and as always if you have any questions or are interested in booking your own Colorado Engagement Session don’t hesitate to reach out.
Notes:
For this session we decided on Loveland Pass which is near Breckenridge and sits at about 12,000 ft of elevation with incredible mountain views for miles. Pro Tip: If you’re exploring this area at anytime of the year, always bring a warm jacket, hat and gloves because the temperature in Denver can be 70 but 30 at Loveland Pass.
Loveland Pass is an area that I’ve explored and scouted extensively. What does this mean? As a photographer I want to offer the best experience possible for all of my couples so this means I do a lot of work upfront by scouting areas, doing hikes and tracking sunset times to see what the lighting will look like so I can show up and get you the best possible photos. This is especially important when working with couples that fly into Colorado for destination engagement photos or elopements at Loveland Pass or other mountain areas in Colorado.
